How this battery works:
1. Charge the battery: This battery has its own battery charger. lithium battery pack You can charge it from any 110V or 220V AC power source with the included AC charger through the "DC IN" port on the battery.
New Feature: You can also charge this battery from a USB port power through the Mini "USB IN" port on the battery. This new feature is only available for batteries purchased after March 2009. Previous batteries may not have this feature.
DC IN Port: Use this port to charge battery with the enclosed AC Charger.
USB IN Port: Use this port to charge battery from a USB port power
Ch.Lo. LED: Will light when battery is charging or when the power is low.
5V DC OUT Port: Supplies the 5V power
If you have a USB power cable for your device, you can directly charge your device by connect your device to the "5V DC OUT" USB port through your own USB power cable.

Select the right connector tip: Included with the battery pack is a USB output cord with a few connector tips. With the connector tip not connected to the adapter cord, locate the correct tip by fitting it into the device DC Jack. The tip should fit snugly in the DC jack
3. Make Sure the Polarity is Correct: After you select the proper plug tip lithium battery pack and make sure the polarity is right. If your device has its own USB port power cord, you don't need to worry about Polarity since your original power cord must be set at right polarity. If you want to use enclosed output cord and connectors, please note that The default battery output cable and connectors are configured as positive polarity. Please make sure your device�s polarity is positive. If not, you cannot use enclosed output cable and connectors.
